Jets Sign Michael Vick, Cut Mark Sanchez, Two Wrongs Don’t Make A Right

We were all told as children that two wrongs don’t make a right. In the world of professional sports: two wrong moves don’t make a right one. Mark Sanchez was promising out of college but with the Jets never fully realized whatever ability he may have had. The Jets were close to the Super Bowl in 2009 and 2010 but the Jets window under Rex Ryan has come and gone. So what do the Jets do? Extend Ryan’s contract as Head Coach. Michael Vick’s best years were with the Falcons and he’s been beyond unimpressive with the Eagles. Vick will not walk onto the Jets roster and turn the team around. He will not add one single victory. It wasn’t until the Eagles went with Kolb that they went anywhere. All of these moves, prove why the Jets organization has been mostly irrelevant for as long as we can remember.
