Richard Sherman: The New Face of Sports Villains

The Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowler Richard Sherman is on a Sho-Nuff-style rampage in the NFL. He staked his claim as the new sports villain the second he taunted Tom Brady upon defeating the Patriots during the 2012 season. In a world of Dennis Rodman, Mike Tyson and a cast of others, Sherman has brought being bad back. The cornerback gets into it with ESPN’s Skip Bayless and backs everything he says up. He makes the play to clinch the 2013 NFC Championship and provided the most epic post-game interview perhaps of all-time at the unfortunate expense of Erin Andrews. When the odds favored Peyton Manning and the #1 scoring offense in NFL History, Sherman and the Seahawks defense unleashed the ‘Legion of Boom’. Sherman and the Seahawks should excite and entertain again in 2014. The question is will they repeat as Super Bowl Champions?

  1. I do believe all the ideas you have offered in your post. They are very convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are very short for novices. May just you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post:
